Earth day is an annual event celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and celebrated in more than 193 countries each year. Why does this apply to Ivex? That’s because Everyday is Earth Day at New Indy Ivex Specialty Paper! On Earth day, people make promises to help the environment and make positive changes in their community, but that is something New Indy Ivex has been doing since 1913. Our dedication to sustainability is one of our main priorities. Our paper is produced from recycled fibers and is 100% recyclable. We have made the promise to help the environment through our Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) Chain of Custody Standard; the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Standard and the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) Standard Certifications.
